Hi, I’m Petra.

I am an intuitive, self-taught artist living and working in Emerald Beach, New South Wales. My art journey began in 2016 with nothing more than a pencil and printer paper. Over the past ten years, I have immersed myself in constant experimentation, discovering new mediums and mastering new techniques with every single piece.

Today, my studio is a vibrant space free from rigid rules. While I deeply understand the foundational elements of art and the importance of traditional composition, I prefer to weave them into my work instinctively, and I’m never afraid to break those rules when it allows something unexpected and beautiful to emerge.

I paint mostly by intuition. Whether I am layering the raw horizon of a local seascape, the rich textures of a bold abstract, or the soulful face of an animal, I pour all of my energy and love directly onto the canvas.

For me, art is completely about connection. My goal is straightforward: to create authentic, colorful pieces that bring lasting light, energy, and happiness onto your walls and into your home.
